Vitiligo Symptoms, Causes and Treatment
Vitiligo is a skin disease that causes pigment loss, resulting in irregular white patches of skin. The exact cause of vitiligo is complex and poorly understood. There is evidence suggesting that it is caused by a combination of auto immune, genetic, and environmental factors. Between 1% and 2% of the population has vitiligo.

- Uveitis.
- Retina white patches.
- Premature graying.
- Gray scalp hair.
- Gray eyelashes, gray eyebrows, gray beard.
- Sun sensitivity
Vitiligo Treatment
- Corticosteroid cream are suggested by most dermatologist.
- Exposure to using long-wave ultraviolet (UVA) light from the sun or the UVA.
- Transplanted melanocytes to vitiligo affected areas, effectively repigmenting the region.
- Chemical depigmentation has been using such as monobenzylether of hydroquinone to treat vitiligo.
